Wow the teeth!
January 6th, Jackson's 3rd tooth is coming in today. I looked in the morning and there was nothing there. Right before dinner I heard him grinding his teeth. Obviously if he is grinding them there HAD to be a top tooth; felt again and low and behold his top right (looking at him) tooth had broken through the gum.
Still no teeth for Addison yet!!

a first
For the first time since coming off oxygen and becoming more "independent", Addison fell asleep in my arms today. She slept for about 1 1/2 hrs. Then she even continued to sit with me another 45 minutes! I know that is normal for a lot of moms and babies, but since coming home on oxygen, she just has not been a cuddler. It made my heart swell! I didn't want to put her down, but had to so I could eat dinner. I hope this trend continues. Course when Jackson woke up he looked upset by it since he has been my cuddler.

Christmas 2011
We had a wonderful Christmas this year. Not only was it Jackson's and Addison's first Christmas, but my parents flew out to spend it with us. I loved having them here for the week. They unfortunately had to fly home New Years Eve. While they were here we spent time with the babies at home, went to a cabin for a day and half (big sissy went fishing), and just enjoyed each others company.
Jackson and Addison were both very interested in opening presents already (9 months actual 6 months adjusted!). it is so cute!!!
Jackson started trying to get up on his hands and knees on December 30th! Addison tries but doesn't quite get them under her yet!
They both continually try to say new letter sounds. They are sitting up so well (even though they can't get to the sitting position by themselves yet). Addison will pull herself to a standing position if you hold your arms steady and hold her hands. Jackson loves to stand! You can let go for a second or two and he will stand there.

9 Months Old (6 months Adjusted)
9 Months already? Where did the time go? It is definitely flying by.
Last week Jackson & Addison had their first Synagis shot to help combat RSV.
This week was the 9 month well baby visit. Only the Hep B shot! Jackson weighed 18 pounds 2 oz and was 27 inches long! Addison is now 17 pounds 4 oz and was 27 1/4 inches long!
Both are sitting for longer periods of time. They are even trying to sit up straighter each time. They are still getting used to solids. We have increased the amount they get and are working up to three times a day. They are still drinking 4-5 6oz bottles a day of Formula. I stopped pumping about 2 weeks ago. It was a very hard decision and I felt really guilty. They are thriving though so everyone says they will be fine on just formula. They were only getting about an ounce a day of BM the last month anyways.
Jackson is "talking" up a storm these days! Addison just started saying ba ba ba on Tuesday this week. I love listening to them talk. They love to play on the floor, long gone are the days where they wanted to be in their swings a lot. Some days, Jackson will cry if Addison touches him. Other days he is totally ok with it. She loves to reach out for him, it's adorable. While they are playing on the floor, they both scoot around their play mat. They get better going backwards every day.
I'm going to try and take some pictures this weekend.
